OMFG I need help with this car situation!?

Alright this is the situation just letting you know its a little long so bare with me. okay I currently own a 2003 Mit. Galant and it has 86,000 miles on it NOW I owe 8,000 on it and i figured if i traded it in id get 4,500 or 5,000 for it so then the remainder would be 3,000 that would go ontop of another car NOW the car i saw was 19,000 and it was a 2007 Infiniti G35 Coupe with Navigaton now the total with taxes and everything would be around 23,000 and i have a warranty that i bought that I NEVER USED ONCE! and i paid 1,900 for it. The place where I was looking for a car said he can most likly get that money back for me so now my question is how much would that payment be for a 23,000 dollar car a 2007 with 26,000 miles on it?? My dad is going to co sign and hes got amazing credit around a 800... I need a round about cost how much it would be thanks !!

Exterior door install cost... from scratch?

There is no existing door or window so the t-111 and drywall will need to be cut, framed with header, re-drywalled, textured, trimmed and painted, and so on. I'm sure there is one wire that will have to be moved but plumbing and gas is under the house so it won't be a problem. It will also need some wood steps outside that will also need some concrete work for the landing, but those will be pretty straight forward. Any ideas on what this might run on labor from start to finish? I was going to do it myself but really don't have the time to deal with it right now. I am in Southern California... that might help with your estimation.

Workman compensation Settlement offer?

I have just recieved notice that the insurance company has offered $1000 to settle (my part) in a workman compensation claim. They will pay my attorney's fee separate and apart. They will not pay any medical expenses (amounting to about $3000) which so far medicare and other health insurance has paid in full. I did not seek any medical expenses claimed as workman's compensation,but my attorney did seek medical cost reimbursements which as I mentioned they will not pay in the settlement. My question is basically, if I accept the settlement will I then have to notify medicare and other hearth insurance that paid for medical expenses that I recieved a settlement and have to pay them and also is the $1000 settlement taxable as income for next year. I will mention the settlement is final if accepted and I can make no other claims. Since filing this claim I did return to work full duty for a week and then they laid me off and have not rehired me so I am seeking employment else where. Disciplining cat by locking her up?

My roommate and I adopted this one year old stray cat from the shelter. We thought she was sweet but NOOO, she bites a LOT (play biting, attacks our hands all the time, bites if you even try to touch her) and she keeps getting on the countertops. We've tried every method in the book - the spray bottle, the aluminum foil, the sticky tape - you name it, we've done it. Ignoring her doesn't work. My roommate has gotten so mad that he locks her up in the bathroom when she misbehaves too much. (with food and water and her litterbox - I don't agree with this method, but he is adamant.) Anything we try on this cat doesn't work, she is stubborn and refuses to learn anything, negative or positive reinforcement doesn't work at all. What can we do? We play with her and try and tire her out but she still gets into mischief. HELP!

Can't log onto Second Life?

So I just downloaded second life the other day and I haven't been able to log in. Every time i log in it gets to 'waiting for region handshake' then it says 'unable to connect. login packet never received by login server.' Is this a problem with the server or with my computer. I went into the windows firewall and made sure the program was allowed, however my computer came pre-installed with anti-virus wear so i'm unsure if I need to change something else. last night my two of my friends had planned to sleep over at my house. we hung out at my house, we rode the jet skis on the lake and pretty much just chilled. but then we changed our minds and decided that we were gonna sleep over at one of the friends i had overs house instead. her older sister wanted to go to a big party(down by the lake) that someone she knew was having but her parents told her she wasnt allowed. so she used me and my friends as an excuse to get out of the house. we told her mom that we wanted to go walmart but she really just drove us all to the party. the plan was that she was just gonna go see her boyfriend for a little bit and then take us back home. but that plan changed and a little bit turned into a long time. but i ended up seeing a boy from school that has aked me out before and a couple others we knew. so we just hung out with them for a while. they were drinking but we werent. i had one tiny tiny sip of his beer cuz i dont like the taste of it, its so gross. anyway, finally after like almost 2 hours my friends sister was ready to leave. but just as we were about to leave the police came. someone called them and they busted up the party. some kids were busted for underage drinking and they caught us too, even though we werent drinking. just the fact that we are under age and there. the police made us all call our parents. my dad was pretty frickin mad when he got there. he didnt say anything but i could tell by the look on his face. when we got home he didnt yell, but he let me have it pretty good. i told him i was sorry. but he didnt wanna hear that. i told him what happened and that it wasnt my fault, that i wasnt doing anything wrong and i didnt even wanna be there. but he still grounded me. i dont know how long for cuz he didnt say. all he said was that im grounded, im not allowed to go anywhere, or have friends over. he took my cell phone away. ii have to come straight home from school, i cant go anywhere unless its with him, my stepmom or my mom. allowed to keep my laptop cuz i still have a music report to do, but everything else is gone. how can i make him see that he's being totally unfair? i need him to realize that this isnt my fault. he's usually pretty cool about things(he's only 30, he was 16 when me and my twin brother were born, so he's young and i think thats why) but he's NOT being cool about this mess.

Any ways to save an already-bad laptop battery?

My laptop battery is almost 2 years old, and even when it's fully charged it can only last no more than 20 minutes. I plan to use it until it dies, but I would like to know what should I do to prolong the life of this already-bad battery. I think I'll leave it plugged in at all times. I know this will make it weaker, but my previous battery got toast because I used it until it had 0% charge in it, then left it uncharged overnight then next morning, I discovered it was broken. The reason was because I did not promptly charge it when it was completely drained. I don't want the same thing to happen to this one. I'm just afraid that if I unplug the adapter, the battery will be discharged after 20 minutes and I'm not at home to replug it then it will die just like the old one. Set three alarms-the first one being loud, the second one being annoying, and the third being loud. On the first night set the first alarm at 4:30, the second one at 4:45 and the third one at 5:00. Then, you'll wake up, trust me. The second night, set your three alarms again same noise thing, but the first one at 4:45, the second one at 5:00 and the third one at 5:15. The third night, set your first alarm at 5:00 the second alarm at 5:15, and the third night at 5:30. The fourth night, set your first alarm at 5:15, the second one at 5:30 and the fourth on at 5:45. The fifth night, set your first alarm at 5:30, the second one at 5:45 and the third one at 6:00. The sixth night, set your first alarm at 5:45, the second alarm at 6:00 and the third alarm at 6:15. The seventh night, set your first alarm at 6:00, the second one at 6:15 and the third one at 6:30. Finally, the eighth night, set your first alarm and 6:15, the second alarm at 6:30 and the third alarm at 6:45. For the next week, keep setting your first alarm at 6:15, the second alarm at 6:30 and the third alarm at 6:45. I am 13 weeks and 3 days pregnant...my last dr appt was when i was 12 weeks. The dr told me that i woul dstart feeling better soon and get some of my energy back. Problems with Mother-In-Law?

When we visit my husbands step-mother and his dad she yells at my kids constantly finding fault in everything they do. She makes it quite clear also that she doesn't want us there when we do go over there. She will turn the tv on and watch her show when we are sitting there or get up and go sit downstairs. She acts very moody with us. There has been other instances also. She has also said that she is putting away toys for her grandchildren meaning her own sons future children, as she doesn't see my children as her grandchildren. This has been going on for years and I am sick of it. I don't know what to do. My stomach gets in knots going over there and I hate her yelling at my kids. Best route to theater and acting?

for a 22 y/o New England male college student, introvert, non singer, that posesses zero experience to begin with. I have been interested in acting in theater and seeing how it goes. Growing up I played alot of sports and never even gave plays in school a thought. But lately I have been reading about William Esper and have become fascinated with acting/improv and writing. Just wondering what in my case would be the best route to pursue a career wether it be stage or commercial. I am aware in the top conservatories like Esper and Adler, as well A.R.T. in boston and A.C.T. in San Fran. The latter option as well as MFA programs like Tisch, Yale or Webster seem like a better option. Not to say I am short, ugly, or less than average looking but I cant help but notice many of the people who do a two year conservatory or a program like Acting Corp have "the look" that is marketable where as many of the less than genetically blessed actors that find success have had a strong theatre background as well as Julliard, Tisch, or Yale on their resumes. Im pretty ignorant on alot of it and am just hoping to be enlightened.

Insect ID Needed, a cross between a caterpillar and a spider?

About 1" long, hairless, skinny (about 1/4cm wide) yellowish in color with brown stripes running the length of the body. There are 8 or more legs on each side which are clear/brown stripe (banded..around legs vs. down legs) and the ends of the legs are like thin light-brown hairs. It has things on the side of its mouth that pull food in (vs straw, suction, fangs, etc.), antennae. I squished it dead because it crawled across my bed and freaked me out, so there isn't much else to tell you. I am already freaked out about living on the first floor of the dorms because spiders are more prone to live down here, but I don't know what this creepy thing is! It (formerly haha) and I presently, live in southern WV. I know that helps determine ID. (took a forensic entomology cl...Forensic student). Please ID so I know that type of RAID to buy! Ever since I was young I had a serious issue being able to tell my parents things, asking for favors, being open with them etc especially my mother. A good before bed routine will work wonders... peace and quiet, dimming lights, bath ( or top and tail ), nappy, feed etc. Your baby will much prefer to fall asleep in your comforting warm arms than her cot and its that routine thats hard to break.Its hard for you to not comfort her but sometimes it works to get babies used to falling asleep on their own. try comforting her by stroking her and rubbing her tummy she will then haveyour contact but she wont be disturbed by being picked up. this worked for me after reading it in a Miriam Stoppard book! Its natural towant to pick her up and still do if she wont settle but in thelong run youll benefit.. Another thing i know you said she wakes for a feed but is she maybe falling asleep before shes full? could be hunger? x

The guy we bought it from told my fiance that the breaks were new, and so were the tires, that the A/C works, which it doesn't, not really a big deal though, and that the 4 wheel works, which it obviously doesn't. I tried to tell my fiance the first time I got behind the wheel that it didn't, but he told me that it had to because the guy told him that it did... and yes, my fiance is one of those overly trusting people. The mechanic told me I should have my fiance return it. I told him that I didn't think I could because it was a private sale. He told me that it doesn't matter, that the lemon law applies to a private sale car that cost more than $1000, and that he's had to fight it for customers before in court and won. We spent $1400. I've looked high and low on the internet, but everything I find tells me something different. Help! Defrosting my first 19lb Turkey.?

I bought it on Monday and it was frozen solid. I placed it in the refridgerator to dethaw when I got home. Today, Tuesday I took it out of the refridgerator and put it in the sink to dethaw. It is still dethawing but I put it back into the refridgerator tonight (Tuesday night) because I didn't want it to dethaw to fast. I am just worried that I messed up by letting it defrost in the sink today. Do you think this could have cause bacteria? Should I buy another turkey?? Any help would be great appreciated.
