When the gas tank on my infiniti fx 35 is getting close to empty it is difficult to fill it up?

I have a 2005 Infiniti FX35 and when the gas tank gets close to empty it is nearly impossible to fill it up.The pump stops after only a couple of gallons.I end up driving to another station and then I can Finnish filling the tank.This has happened a few times at different stations.anyone else have this problem?
