Then, one night when he brings Basil and Lord Henry to a viewing of her performance, she is so mesmerized by Dorian to the point that her acting is horrible. He enters her dressing room and tells her that she is no longer good for him. That's the biggest idea I can think of regarding marriage in the novel.
