Is cavity wall insulation worth it in a bungalow?

we keep getting leaflets regarding Cavity Wall InsulationWe live in a bungalow. Its quite chilly in a few of the rooms and wonder if its really worth having done and how is it done. The bungalow is built of facing bricks. What should we look for if we decide to have it done and will it add value to our property ?
