What is it that makes this category so horrible?

Maybe it'll get better after the elections? Idk, having dwelled in the Hockey section for most of my Y!A life I can tell you that around Stanley Cup Finals time all the bandwagon fans come out and get all obnoxious about how great their team is. Maybe it's similar here in Politics, only the winner of the elections gets the right to screw things up even more in the next 2-4 years, instead of a big silver trophy.
